Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay Review: A Must-Visit Paradise For Frequent Travelers

The Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay right from the moment I stepped foot into the resort, I was immediately greeted with warm "Bula’s!" which means hello in Fijian. That’s just a taste of the incredible welcome you get here. Did you know that Fiji Water, which is known worldwide, comes from this beautiful country?
It's a fun little fact that makes you appreciate this place even more! It took about 17 hours to get to Fiji through Fiji Airways from Canada, and honestly, I don’t regret one bit of it. The flight went by pretty fast as I slept through most it, and this resort made my stay so much more worth it. If you’re dreaming of a getaway where beautiful scenery meets even more beautiful people, then you've found your spot.
The Fijian people are truly some of the nicest folks you’ll ever meet, always ready with a smile and a friendly greeting. After staying in Fiji, I will never stop promoting such a beautiful destination. Every traveler should visit at least once in their lifetime. This resort is more than just a place to stay; it’s an experience that wraps you in comfort and relaxation. Quick disclaimer that this post may contain an affiliated link.
The Deluxe Duplex Ocean View Villa

Oh my goodness, where do I even begin with our Deluxe Duplex Ocean View Villa? It was seriously amazing! This villa is spread out over two levels, which gives you so much space to spread out and feel at home. The ocean view was just breathtaking. Imagine waking up to the sound of gentle waves and stepping out onto your private balcony patio – pure bliss! The patio itself was awesome, with a comfy sun bed and a chair, perfect for just kicking back and watching those incredible beach views.
Inside the villa, it just kept getting better. There was a fantastic bathtub right in the room where you could soak and truly relax. In the YouTube video attached below, I actually ran the bathtub just so you can see how nice it is to just soak in there – seriously, it’s heavenly! They also made sure we had everything we needed, like nail files, shower caps, and tons of other toiletries. And let me tell you about the body washes and shower gels – they smelled absolutely amazing! You could still catch that beautiful Fiji scent on you even a day after showering with it. It was so, so good. The villa felt luxurious but still really cozy, like your own private slice of paradise. It’s perfect for anyone who wants a little extra room and those incredible ocean vistas, plus all those thoughtful touches that make your stay extra special.
Restaurants
One of the best parts about the Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay is definitely the food! They have a bunch of different restaurants, and each one offers something unique. And let me tell you, the customer service at every single one was excellent. The staff are just so friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have a great meal.
Lagoon Lounge

First up, we have the Lagoon Lounge. This place is super convenient because you can just scan a QR code with your phone and place your order. Honestly, I was surprised by how quick it was – less than 30 minutes, and your food arrives! It's great for when you just want something easy and delicious.
Goji Kitchen

Then there's Goji Kitchen. This is where I went for breakfast, and they have an awesome buffet option. There was such a huge variety of fresh food, from all the usual breakfast favorites to some delicious Fijian dishes. If you're looking to try some authentic local flavors, this is the spot! What makes Goji Kitchen extra special is that they have these cool seats where you can sit and watch the fish swim right under you. It's such a unique and beautiful dining experience.
Fish Bar

For all you seafood lovers out there, Fish Bar is a must-visit. This restaurant is just as good as it sounds, and it's perfect for anyone who enjoys fresh seafood. I ordered a seafood basket that came with mussels, fried fish, and softshell crab, and it was all so fresh and tasty. Plus, there’s a pool and a hot tub right beside this restaurant, so you can enjoy a dip before or after your meal.
Lagoon House

Lastly, we have the Lagoon House, but this time for comfort food. I grabbed a delicious burger and fries there, and it hit the spot perfectly. This restaurant also has a pool located right alongside it, making it a great place to grab a bite while enjoying some poolside fun.
All in all, every single restaurant at this resort blew me away with their delicious food and, most importantly, their fantastic customer service.
Talented Voices and Beautiful Moments

Evenings at the Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay are just as enjoyable as the days. One of the highlights for me was experiencing the Sunday choir. They were singing, and it was absolutely beautiful to witness their voices. You could really feel the passion and talent in their performance. It's moments like these that make your trip even more memorable and give you a deeper appreciation for the local Fiji culture. Their voices were truly beautiful, and they are incredibly talented.
Watch Our Fiji Adventure!

We recently dropped a YouTube video that takes you on a full tour of this amazing resort! We hope you can be one of the first ones watching it. Give it a watch here at this link:https://youtu.be/uJNU5hvWZ24?si=QNWcJAt5DhaJR8bB
I will never ever stop raving about the beautiful country of Fiji. I actually took this trip solo and alone, so for those of you who are thinking about traveling by yourself, you can definitely visit Fiji alone because it’s a very safe country. The people are so welcoming, and the resort makes you feel completely at ease.
